Ex-Sony Employee Sues Nintendo over 3D Display Patent
It sounds like one for the ages; an ex-Sony employee is trying to sue Nintendo for the use of 3D display in the Nintendo 3DS handheld console. Seijiro Tomita worked at Sony for 30 years before retiring to pursue his inventions. Preview: Lego City Undercover (Nintendo Wii U)
Lego City Undercover for Nintendo Wii U has its roots buried in the 1997 PC title, Lego Island. In that title, players were presented with sandbox, open world style gameplay with quirky characters and hundreds of puns. Animal Crossing: New Leaf and other Nintendo 3DS Games get Australian Release Dates
Nintendo Australia has revealed a bunch of release dates for upcoming Nintendo 3DS games, including the highly anticipated Animal Crossing: New Leaf. First up, though, is Luigi's Mansion 2 wich launches in Australia on March 28, 2013. The game is a sequel to the GameCube title and adds online and local multiplayer alongside the new story. Did Sony Announce PlayStation 4 Prematurely?
Sony thrilled and excited many gaming fans last week when they finally took the covers off their upcoming console, PlayStation 4. I just can't stop asking myself: why? To clear things up straight away, I have no problem with Sony's new console. The PlayStation 4 Logo: Fan Made vs Official, Which do You Prefer?
Yesterday, Sony announced their latest video game console, PlayStation 4. At the same time, website 99Designs announced the winner of the PlayStation 4 logo design competition. The winner, NemanjaB, scored a cash prize of $500 for designing a logo for the, at the time, theoretical console. The design brief was fairly liberal; designers were given pretty much free reign. 99Designs took votes more. -

Nintendo Delivers Miiverse Update on Wii U
Nintendo have pushed out another update for the Wii U social network Miiverse overnight. Miiverse users can now filter posts in communities based on who's actually played the game with the push of a button, making it easier to find more insightful comments from people who know what's going on in-game. Monster Hunter 4 Gets New Trailer
2013 is shaping up to be the "Year of Monster Hunter" with no less than three games in the series launching on Nintendo platforms. Sony released a set of screenshots following the announcement of Killzone: Shadow Fall and Knack on PlayStation 4. Sony Releases PlayStation 4 Specification Sheet (Update!)
Sony have followed up their PlayStation 4 announcement with a specification sheet for the new console's peripherals. The announcement was made in New York earlier today.
