The guys from Respawn Entertainment - the studio formed by the original creators of the multi-billion dollar Call of Duty series, will not be at E3 this year. The studio is working on a title that will be published by Electronic Arts and is expected to be a futuristic FPS (first person shooter) game. Nintendo 3DS will be home to a spinoff to the Capcom published Lost Planet series, the publisher has announced. E.X Troopers is an all new "action shooter" title for the Nintendo 3DS that will be set in the Lost Planet universe. Ubisoft Predicts Great Success for Nintendo Wii U

Nintendo 3DS games can now be patched up, thanks to an all new firmware update released worldwide today. The first game to take advantage of the patch will be Mario Kart 7.
