There will also be a selection of Nintendo eShop-exclusive games, available only via download on the Wii U console itself. We’re still chasing up a confirmed list for the Australian eShop.
Over 50 Wii U games will be launched by the end of March 31, 2012, making it one of the most robust video game console launches in history. Games that will launch in this “launch window” include Pikmin 3, Rayman Legends and LEGO City: Undercover — the latter being a launch title in the US and shouldn’t be too far off. Another high profile game awaiting Australian confirmation is Aliens: Colonial Marines, which is expected to launch across PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 consoles – and maybe Wii U – on February 12, 2013.
