Neko Entertainment today announced their latest game, Kung Fu Rabbit, will be kicking its way onto the Wii U eShop across Europe and Australia next week.

Kung Fu Rabbit is a 2D platforming game that casts you in the role of the titular Kung Fu Rabbit, who’s friends have been kidnapped by Universal Evil, and it’s your job to get them back.

Using your slick kung fu moves, jump from rooftops, slide along walls and sneak up on your enemies as you bring the forces of Universal Evil to justice. The game boasts 80 levels, two difficulty levels and 15 unlockable items for you to customise Kung Fu Rabbit with.

Originally released last year on iOS and Android devices, the 2D platformer has been reworked as a Wii U game by Neko Entertainment in order to deliver the ultimate Kung Fu Rabbit using more traditional, non-touch based controls.

Players will have the option of using either their Wii U GamePad, Pro Controller, Wii Remote or Classic Controller.

Neko Entertainment has a been a strong supporter of Nintendo’s latest home console, already having ported their physics based title Puddle to the Nintendo eShop last year.

Kung Fu Rabbit hits the Nintendo eShop April 18 across Europe and Australia for €4.99 and $6.50AUD (predicted price) respectively.

At time of writing Neko informs Aussie-Gamer the US launch is set roughly two weeks later. No price has been confirmed.
