It’s a big day for Monster Hunter fans. Nintendo have announced that Monster Hunter 4, and all new game in the Monster Hunter series, is in development for Nintendo 3DS.

Not a huge amount of information was revealed, though a video was shown that included features like scaling walls, jumping on monsters, and platform elements. Also unclear is it’s status of being 3DS exclusive – the game was clearly early in development judging by the video, so more news will likely come out next year.

Also announced officially was Monster Hunter Tri G for Nintendo 3DS, which is hitting stores in Japan this December.
