Nintendo Australia is holding a launch party to celebrate the release of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D on Nintendo 3DS next week.

Nintendo are inviting fans of the series and gamers of all ages down to The Nintendo Experience, EB Games, 67 Swanston St, Melbourne from 10pm – 1am, Wednesday 29 June. Food, drinks and music will be on offer, plus the chance to get your photo taken in a Hyrule landscape.

The celebration is to mark the June 30 launch of the most renowned Zelda game of all time, fully remastered in glasses-free 3D for the 3DS. Attendees to the free event will be able to purchase the game from midnight, and could even win a special t-shirt signed by Zelda producer Eiji Aonuma, or a signed copy of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D by competing in the video game challenge or by simply being there.

In fact, you don’t have an excuse not to go! I expect to see you all down there next Wednesday night. For more information on the event, head to the Nintendo Australia website.
