Nintendo Owns the Japanese Video Game Sales Charts

Nintendo have a grand total of eight games appearing in Japan’s top ten sales chart for last week as the Nintendo 3DS literally flies off the shelves.

According to Japanese sales data gatherers Media Create, Nintendo have dominated the charts in Japan yet again with a bevy of strong game releases, such as Mario Kart 7 and Monster Hunter 3G wich landed in slot 1 and 2 respectively. Nintendo are also dominating in hardware sales with it’s Nintendo 3DS which sold almost 200,000 units in Japan last week, a stark contrast to newly released PlayStation Vita which barely sold 40,000 units.
