Nintendo America have announced a more concrete date that Western gamers will be able to get their hands on Pokemon Black and White 2 on Nintendo DS.

Previously, Nintendo of America’s stance were that the games are “coming soon”. Since the announcement confirmed Japan would be getting the games first in June, many would be forgiven to assume the US and indeed Europe would have to wait until the end of the year.

Which would actually be kind of true anyway, as Nintendo America locked in the release date to be “Fall 2012”, which places the game on shelves between September and November – the “golden” months of video game release dates. Of course, a European and Australian release date for the games is still up in the air at this point.

Pokemon Black and White Versions 2 are a pair of sequels for the popular Pokemon Black and White Nintendo DS games. The new titles are likely to feature new locations and characters, though no information on the games’ content has been released thus far.
