Sony today announce the launch of a brand new online store that PlayStation 3, PlayStation Vita and PC users can access through internet browsers.
The launch of this new and easy to navigate store comes off the back of the recent revamp of the PlayStation Network store found on PlayStation 3 consoles.
To begin with users will be able to browse and purchase digital games, downloadable content, videos and more while using the online store, and then move to their console to access the content.
In time, Sony will look at brining over services such a personal recommendations and automatic remote downloads direct to your PlayStation 3 or PlayStation Vita console.
The new online store is available from today in 15 European countries, including Australia. To access the store simply click here. Other countries where the service is now available include: UK, Ireland, France, Spain, Italy, New Zealand, Norway, Sweden, Netherlands, Russia, Germany, Luxembourg, Belgium, Switzerland, Denmark and Finland.
While anyone can buy and access gaming services, video content is only available in Great Britain, France, Germany, Spain, Italy and Australia.
As for North America, Japan and other regions Sony says they are working hard to make it available and that future updates are coming soon.
