Namco have been busy announcing Tekken 3D Prime Edition for Nintendo 3DS overnight and it comes with an exciting bonus. The game will mark the series’ first foray into 3D.

Tekken 3D Prime’s game cartridge comes with a built in, full-length 3D movie – completely rendered in CGI anime goodness. It will be the first, of hopefully many, 3D movies to be released on Nintendo 3DS in some form. The movie is titled “Tekken: Blood Vengeance”. The movie saw a small theatrical release last year, and a Blu-Ray version is also planned.

As for the game itself, wifi multiplayer is confirmed as well as a host of 40 fighters. Classic stages from the series have been remade for this version, with a host of exclusive stages also making the cut.

Quite of a solid deal there, Namco!

Wow, good job Namco, I might get this just because of the effort they seem to be putting in to it. Hopefully the actual games turns out good.
