Nicalis has announced they will be bringing their hit indie Xbox Live Arcade platforming title Aban Hawkins & the 1,000 Spikes to Nintendo 3DS and Wii U – Nintendo’s new high definition game console, due to be released this year.

The game will actually be a remake and will be complete with a new host of features, and a new name; Aban Hawkins & the 1,001 Spikes. New features include a 4-Player Multiplayer mode, new graphics and a reworked soundtrack.

Of course, since the Wii U’s release date has not yet been announced, a release date for the game also hasn’t been revealed.

We’ll keep an eye out for more information as it comes in.
